Product Radar
Official product documentation and primary company sources are preferred for basic factual product information.
- Independent sources may be used when independent confirmation or additional context is useful.
- A source should support the specific material claim for which it is cited.
- Unavailable public information should remain identified as not publicly specified rather than converted into a negative assertion.
In-Short
Source requirements depend on the kind of Blog post. Personal perspective or commentary does not need to imitate a research paper, but material factual claims about products, companies, features, pricing, availability, safety, or other verifiable matters should be supported appropriately.
Experience and uncertainty
Do not claim hands-on use, testing, measurement, or direct experience unless it actually occurred.
When evidence is incomplete, conditional, regional, or no longer current enough for the claim, make that limitation visible and update the information when appropriate.
